At the meeting, it was assessed that the Podgorica committee has a special responsibility in the further development of Preokret, not only because of the significance and size of the Capital City but also due to its role in connecting and strengthening local committees across Montenegro. It was emphasized that a strong and organized Podgorica represents an important support for building a policy that will be present in every community and focused on the real needs of citizens.
The convention was also an opportunity to confirm the continuation of the organizational development of the movement. The formalization of committees in Cetinje and Bijelo Polje was announced, allowing Preokret to continue expanding its network and strengthening its presence in different parts of the country.
Participants of the meeting emphasized that the political action of Preokret must remain focused on the concrete life issues of the citizens of Podgorica. Instead of politics of grand promises and daily political conflicts, the priority will be to propose solutions that can bring measurable results and improve the quality of life for citizens.
It was stated that the newly elected presidency will work on strengthening the organization, fostering open communication with citizens, and creating policies that meet the real needs of the community. It was concluded that the goal of Preokret is to build a responsible and consistent political option that will gain the trust of citizens through work, concrete proposals, and achieved results.
