The footage shows two younger individuals climbing a tower crane located on a construction site that has been halted for a long time. It is not known when the recording was made, or if it is the same footage that appeared on social media a few days ago. It is also unknown who the individuals are that carried out this very dangerous endeavor.
The post accompanying the footage warns that such behavior poses a serious danger and that a few seconds of recording or photography can lead to tragic consequences.
„Due to a few seconds of recording or photography, lives are risked at heights without any safety measures,“ the social media post states.
The Police Administration told the RTCG Portal that this incident has not been reported to them.
The Budva Rescue and Protection Service stated to our portal that they are not familiar with the case, but emphasized that they are obliged to respond whenever human lives are at risk.
„Wherever lives are endangered, we are obliged to help. In such situations, we engage climbers, because, unfortunately, we do not have trained personnel for such interventions,“ said the Protection Service.
They added that they have an airbag, but that it would likely not be helpful from the height at which the individuals were located.
„We have an airbag, but from this height, it would probably not help. The contractor is obliged to secure the construction site and prevent unauthorized access,“ the Rescue and Protection Service stated.
The service also emphasized that they have unofficial information that the individuals in the footage are Russian or Ukrainian citizens engaged in extreme sports, and that this is not the first time they have done this.
Particular attention is drawn to the fact that the crane is located on a site where construction has long been halted, which raises legitimate concerns about the safety of the structure itself.
The author of the post appealed to the relevant authorities to urgently secure the location and remove the tower crane to prevent similar incidents.
