The Advisory Board of the Civil Aviation Agency (CAA) has approved support of 10,700 euros to the Health Center "Dimitrije - Dika Marenić" in Danilovgrad for the procurement of equipment to enhance ophthalmological diagnostics, which is of particular importance for the needs of aviation personnel, the Agency announced.

„The donation is directed to the only healthcare institution in Montenegro authorized to conduct medical examinations of aviation personnel, and it is expected that the device procurement procedure will be completed soon,“ they stated in a press release.

Support is, as they emphasize, important, especially because it contributes to meeting the standards of the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in this area, and ensures compliance with EU requirements and the availability of services necessary for aviation personnel.

„The decision of the Council, made at the end of last year at the proposal of the director, is in accordance with the financial plan for 2025 and confirms the social responsibility of the Agency, which is not funded from the state budget,“ said ACV.

ACV continues to ensure the application of European aviation regulations and improves the processes identified as necessary by EASA, during the successful inspection last year in the areas of licensing flight and cabin crew and issuing medical certificates (FCL & MED)
