On most roads in Montenegro, traffic is flowing without any extraordinary restrictions today. The frequency of vehicles has increased during the day, and we advise drivers to drive carefully and avoid long trips during the hottest part of the day. On sections where work is being carried out, it is essential to respect the posted signals, as announced by the Auto Moto Association of Montenegro AMSCG.

Due to the reconstruction works on the „Đurdevića Tara“ bridge on the main road M-6 section Pljevlja – Žabljak, location Đurdevića Tara, a change in traffic regime is approved as follows:

1. total traffic ban for freight traffic (trucks, trailers, trucks with trailers, etc.) with a capacity over 3.5 tons

2. for passenger traffic and buses, from two-way to alternating traffic flow, as well as total traffic ban from 06:00 to 08:00, from 10:00 to 12:00, and from 14:00 to 20:00 hours

Reconstruction of the regional road R-29 Bar-Kamenički bridge-Krute is underway, and traffic is suspended for all types of vehicles during the periods from 08:00 to 11:00 and from 13:00 to 16:00 hours.

Until the completion of the works, a total traffic ban is approved for all types of vehicles from 08:00 to 14:00 hours on the regional road R-17 section Čevo-Riđani due to road adaptation works.

Until June 27, from 09:00 – 15:00 hours, a total traffic ban is approved due to asphalt works on the regional road R-14 Danilovgrad – Čevo.

Until the completion of the works, a change in the traffic regime from two-way to alternating traffic flow is approved during the periods from 08:00 to 17:00 hours due to the construction of a retaining wall on the regional road R-30 section entrance to Petnjica.

Until June 30, a total traffic ban is approved from 08:00 to 12:00 hours and from 13:00 to 17:00 hours due to works on the regional road R-30 section Petnjica-Bioča, stretch Bioča-Lješnica.

Due to the reconstruction works on the Petnjica-Bioča road, a change in the traffic regime from two-way to alternating traffic flow is approved at the work sites, as well as occasional traffic suspension not exceeding 60 minutes. Traffic suspensions not exceeding 60 minutes cannot be used on weekdays (Monday-Friday) from 07:00 to 09:00 and from 12:00 to 14:00 hours.

Until the completion of the works, a change in the traffic regime from two-way to alternating traffic flow is approved at the work site due to the adaptation of part of the road in the center of Tuzi, from the „Voli“ supermarket to the Catholic church, on the main road M-4 section Podgorica- Božaj.

A change in the traffic regime from two-way to alternating traffic flow is approved due to construction works on the Boulevard – street “Vojislavljevića” from street “Kralja Nikole” to street “Princeze Ksenije” in Podgorica.

Until July 31, the traffic regime will change from two-way to one-way, and occasional traffic suspension not exceeding 30 minutes is approved due to reconstruction works on the regional road R-3 section Pljevlja-Dajevića Han.

Works will be carried out on the highway from June 24

on the section between the roundabout and the Smokovac Toll Plaza – in the right lane, in the area of the Tara 1 bridge – in the right lane, or in the area of the highway exit, at the locations of the Uvač 1 bridge, Lutovo bridge, Ratkov Laz bridge, and Đuričev laz – in the left lane.

During the works, temporary traffic signals will be established and the traffic flow regime will be changed.

Drivers traveling in the area of the Tara 1 bridge (Mateševo exit) are particularly advised to follow the posted signals in a timely manner, considering that traffic will be temporarily redirected to the left traffic lane, after which vehicles will be redirected back to the highway exit zone.

Traffic of freight motor vehicles with a maximum allowed weight exceeding 7.5 tons is prohibited from June 15 to September 15 from Monday to Friday from 19:00 to 24:00 hours and on Saturdays and Sundays from 17:00 to 24:00 hours on the following sections of the main roads:

M-1 GP Debeli Brijeg-H,Novi -Kotor-Tivat-(Krtolska intersection) -Budva-Bar-Ulcinj-GP Sukobin

M-2 Podgorica-Sotonici -Petrovac

M-3 Podgorica-Mioska-Kolasin

M-10 Podgorica -Cetinje-Budva

Until October 15, every day from 07:00 to 24:00 hours, on the section of the regional road:

R-1, Kotor – Trojica (intersection with M-1), municipality of Kotor, to the place Krstac (intersection with R25), municipality of Cetinje,

II TRAFFIC OF BUSES OF CATEGORIES M2 AND M3 (light and heavy buses and so-called van vehicles) and special passenger vehicles for accommodation – so-called campers, is PROHIBITED until October 15, every day from 00:00 to 24:00 hours on the sections of the regional roads:

R-1, from the place Krstac (intersection with R25), municipality of Cetinje to the place Trojica – Kotor (intersection with M-1), municipality of Kotor, from the direction of Njeguša towards Kotor,

R-25.1, section Međuvršje – Lovćen, from the parking lot to the Mausoleum, in both directions.

The Auto Moto Association of Montenegro provides technical assistance to traffic participants on public roads, which includes roadside assistance, minor repairs, and free towing of vehicles to the nearest service for all vehicles registered in Montenegro.
