For one of the best goal scorers of the 21st century, this will be his first experience outside European football, after a rich career during which he wore the jerseys of Znicz, Lech Poznań, Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona, from which he is coming to the USA.
Lewandowski has played 165 matches for the Polish national team and scored 89 goals, making him the record holder for his country in both appearances and goals.
After Poland failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, he hinted at the end of his international career, but has not yet announced an official decision regarding his retirement.
