After five years, Sveti Stefan is once again welcoming guests. Villa Miločer opened at the end of May, and with the return of Sveti Stefan, they say from the Monterok group, the development of elite tourism continues.
„We start from the resources that Montenegro has, which cannot be increased, such as beaches for example. The number of beaches that Montenegro can accommodate is small, which means that this small number of guests must spend a lot of money for the Montenegrin economy to get what it expects from tourism. To attract such guests, we need products like Sveti Stefan,“ says Miloš Pavlović from the Monterok group.
Besides for visitors, the opening could, as they announce, also benefit the local population.
„Everything gives an opportunity to the local population that may not already have some apartments for rent, and those who do certainly gain in significance and value of those apartments, but also to the other part of the population that may not be active in that segment, to get activated through various types of service activities,“ said Pavlović.
In an area of one hundred meters, Sveti Stefan brings together three global brands, which, they say from the Monterok group, is rare even for destinations like Italy and Greece.
„People go for brands, brands follow each other, so it’s a closed circle that pulls each other. Thus, the impact of this news, of course, in combination with a few other elements that positively affect Montenegro ahead of its EU accession, as some global, geostrategic events that favor Montenegro in this case, completely brings Montenegro back on the map of world elite destinations,“ concludes Pavlović.
Sveti Stefan officially opens its doors to visitors on July 1.
