Bosna through Igokea to the quarterfinals with Partizan

The Bosnian basketball team defeated Igokea on their home court (80:76) and advanced to the ABA League playoffs.

There they will face Partizan, who will host the best-of-two quarterfinal series. The first leg is scheduled for May 6 in Belgrade, with the return leg four days later in Sarajevo.

The "Students" led 7:0 and 15:4, but the guests responded with an 11:0 run and tied the score at 17:17, but Bosnia closed the first quarter better and won it in their favor – 23:19.

In the second period, the "Igos" took control, winning this quarter 28:18 and going into halftime with a six-point lead (47:41).

They further increased their advantage in the third quarter (maximum 10 points difference), but this time Bosnia responded with an 11:0 run and brought back the suspense, so the score entered the last quarter with a 60:58 score for Igokea.

With less than six minutes left, the guests from Laktaši were leading 69:61, but the home team turned the score around again with an 11:2 run – 72:71. In the dramatic finale, the teams exchanged the lead, but Bosna was calmer in the finish and eventually won.

Igokea will have another chance to reach the playoffs and a duel with Dubai, and their opponent will be the winner of the Spartak – Zadar match.
