Dečić's players defeated Otranto in Ulcinj (2:1) in the first match of the Montenegrin Cup semi-finals.

Based on everything shown, Milija Savović's team did not deserve to lose today, but they will have a chance in the rematch to be played on May 6th in Tuzi to turn things around in their favor.

The home team, specifically captain Valentin Rudović, was the first to threaten, but Miloš Dragojević was in the right place.

The defending champions took the lead on the half-hour mark. Petar Pavlićević played a great pass to Stefan Golubović, who hit the far corner on the drop.

In the 35th minute, Nebojša Jandrić had to make a forced substitution – instead of the injured goalkeeper Dragojević, Danilo Radošević took his place between the goalposts.

At the end of the first half, Otrant had two excellent chances to equalize. First, Edin Đečbitrić shot diagonally from the right, but it was saved by Radošević, and in the continuation of the action, Rudović was almost inaccurate.

The second division team came very close to equalizing in the first ten minutes of the second half. Rudović's terrible shot was saved by Radošević, and then the Otranto captain prepared everything nicely for Sadik Škrijelj, who only hit the outside of the net. Škrijelj tried again, and then Rudović, but on both occasions Radošević made an excellent save.

However, he could do nothing in the 82nd minute. The ball bounced to Çagaz August, who masterfully volleyed the ball into the small net from 17-18 meters away for 1:1, causing delight in the stands of the Velika Plaža stadium.

The home team even tried to turn the game around, but a cold shower followed just three minutes later. Jonathan Dresaj broke through on the right, sending a pass back to Montenegrin international Andrej Bajović, who cut in from the back and hit the far corner.

A few seconds later, another equalizer almost happened – Rudović lucidly tried to lob Radošević, but the reserve goalkeeper of Tuzan made a phenomenal save to prevent the goal.

In the second semi-final at 6:30 PM in Bar, Mornar and Jezero will meet.
