Barani thus recorded their eighth triumph in a row in all competitions and took a big step towards their second consecutive Cup final.
Mornar threatened in the second minute – Marko Đurišić shot a free kick diagonally from the right side, but not precisely enough.
The first major excitement came in the 17th minute, when Nikola Stijepović crossed from the left, and CFL's top scorer Balša Sekulić miscued the ball with a header from the penalty area.
However, just a minute later, the home team took the lead. Stijepović crossed again from the left flank, and Demir Škrijelj followed up and scored from the far post.
By the end of the first half, Jan Yao had a shot from a turn just over the bar.
The same player had a shot at the start of the second half, missing a practically empty goal from three or four meters.
In the 54th minute, the first and best chance of the game for the visitors from Plav came. Aldin Adžović made a great interception from the right, and Matija Bojović reacted badly from five or six meters and shot wide.
In the 68th minute, Đurišić shot from distance, but there was no change in the score.
On the other side, Mario Đoljaj caught a volley in the 76th minute after a poor reaction from the opposing defense, but the ball almost ended up near the goalpost.
In stoppage time after a corner kick, Ilija Martinović and Sekulić tried, but the score remained 1:0.
Earlier today, Dečić beat Otranto (2:1) in Ulcinj.
The return matches are scheduled for May 6th.
