– It's a shame we didn't win this game. We were the better opponent, both in terms of chances and play. The attitude and commitment were at a very high level, the style of play was at a satisfactory level for a good part of the game. But, there were also moments when we allowed Hungary to have the initiative, then we didn't force the agreements we had made before the match. All in all, it's clear that the team is on the right track in terms of preparations for the June qualifiers. Unfortunately, we have problems with injuries, Fatić and Pavićević were injured today, and Jovanović has also been out of the field for some time, said coach Nenad Vukčević.
Today's match opened with a goal by Petar Ražnatović in the sixth minute, after Vukota Knežević interrupted Hungary's action and passed to a teammate. Marko Popović had good chances to score again on two occasions, as did Ražnatović and Petar Lalović.
Hungary responded with two quick goals, in the 71st and 73rd minutes, scored by Erik Kovač and Daniel Kesegy.
The final score was set by Marko Glendža in the 86th minute. The Montenegrin midfielder scored after actions by Popović and Viktor Lesjak.
