Andrej Rubljov za korak je bliži odbrani titule na ATP turniru u Dohi.

Rus je u prvom četvrtfinalu savladao Grka Stefanosa Cicipasa sa 2:0 – 6:3, 7:6 (2) za plasman među četiri najbolja igrača.

Aktuelni šampion turnira u Kataru odigrao je odličan meč, a u čitavom meču napravio je samo jedan brejk i to u prvom setu. U drugom dijelu igre oba tenisera su čuvala servise, a u taj-brejku je Rubljov slavio sa 7:2 i završio posao u dva seta.

Rubljov sada čeka pobjednika meča Karlos Alkaraz – Karen Hačanov.
