The Kragujevac team thus defended their title and reached their third trophy, but also continued their complete dominance over Anastasios Kehayas' team, defeating them for the fifth time in as many duels this season.
The Montenegrin representative opened the match excellently and gained a three-goal lead, but midway through the second quarter, an unreal decline followed, lasting almost 14 minutes without a goal. Primorac made a series of mistakes, allowed their rival to score eight consecutive goals and practically lost the game before the final quarter.
The team from Kotor entered the match in a great way and took a 2:0 lead with goals from Marko Mrsic and Balsa Vučković. After exactly three and a half minutes of play, the first goal for the home team F4 was scored by Duško Pijetlović.
Nikola Brkić, then Balša Vučković increased the lead to 4:1, and the final outcome of the first period was set by Strahinja Rašović – 4:2. Kragujevac coach Uroš Stevanović already at the end of the first period put his trust in goalkeeper Filipović and Todorovski.
At the very start of the second quarter, Nikola Jakšić from the penalty spot reduced the score to 4:3, and Đuro Radović responded on the other side. Jakšić scored two more goals to tie the score at 5:5, which was also the first equalizer in the game in the middle of this period.
Savo Ćetković, in an attack with a player more than the first post, returned the advantage to his team – 6:5. It was then 7:6 and that was the beginning of the end for our representative. Radnički's 8:0 series followed, which went from minus one to plus seven after two consecutive goals by Rašović for 14:7 at the end of the third quarter, which the defending champion won 5:0.
Tim Perov scored the opening goal for the rivals with a beautiful lob midway through the decisive period. It was the first goal for the team from Kotor after almost 14 minutes of play, but it was too late…
The most efficient player for the winners was Nikola Jakšić with four goals. Strahinja Rašović added one less.
On the other side, Marko Mrsic led the way with four goals, while Balsa Vuckovic and Nikola Brkic scored two each.
