Vuković and Radović at the IMF and World Bank spring meetings in Washington

The Montenegrin delegation, led by Finance Minister Novica Vuković and the Governor of the Central Bank of Montenegro, Irena Radović, will participate in the Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group in Washington from April 13 to 18, where they will discuss key economic and financial issues and hold a series of bilateral meetings.

"As part of the Spring Meetings, the Montenegrin delegation will hold a series of meetings with senior officials of the IMF and the World Bank, dedicated to current issues of economic, fiscal and monetary policy, with special emphasis on international development, financial system stability and improving public finances," the statement said.

In addition to meetings with representatives of the IMF and the World Bank, the delegation members will, according to them, also have several bilateral meetings with representatives of other countries, international financial institutions, investors and partners from the private sector.

"The IMF and World Bank Group Spring Meetings bring together leaders from around the world, central bank governors, finance ministers, representatives of international financial institutions, the private sector, academia and civil society, and represent an important platform for exchanging views on key global economic challenges, with a particular focus on international development and current developments in financial markets," the Ministry of Finance concluded in a statement.
