The results of the analysis of seawater quality for 114 locations, conducted by the Institute of Marine Biology from June 22 to June 25 of this year, showed that 79.8 percent of locations had excellent quality seawater, 12.3 percent had good quality, and 7.9 percent had satisfactory quality. These results confirm that the seawater at Montenegrin beaches is of good quality, i.e., that it is sanitary safe and secure for swimming and recreation, as stated by JP Morsko dobro.

Regarding the municipality of Budva, the Program is implemented at 34 locations, of which 31 had excellent water quality, one was good, and two were satisfactory,” the statement reads.

In Herceg Novi, water was sampled at a total of 22 locations, of which 18 had excellent quality, three had good quality, and one was satisfactory,” they added from Morsko dobro.

The results can be viewed on a special application available on the Morsko dobro website, which is accessible in Montenegrin and English.
