"Namely, during a regular traffic control in Bečići, the Budva police checked MS (36) from the Republic of Turkey, residing in Budva, who, when showing his ID, showed a temporary residence and work permit issued on September 9, 2025 by the Podgorica Police Department," the police said.
They add that after a visual inspection, the police officer suspected that the document was false, and this person was brought to the official premises of the Budva Security Department, where information was collected from him on the aforementioned circumstances, and through a series of measures and actions taken within the jurisdiction of the police, it was determined that it was a forgery.
"The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor was informed of the incident, and on his order, MS was deprived of his liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of forging a document. He will be brought before the prosecutor in charge for further proceedings within the legally prescribed period, with a criminal report," the police concluded.
