SC Derbi imposed a rhythm from the first attack, tightened the defense and quickly made a difference that the guests could not follow. Petar Mijović's team reached +21 – 26:5, and after ten minutes it was clear that Zadar had no answer to the energy of the home team.
By halftime, the guests only managed to reduce the score, but not to lower it below a double-digit deficit – 41:25.
At the end of the third quarter, Zadar was eight points behind, but after that our representative picked up the pace again and maintained a double-digit lead until the end – 73:59.
Mateo Drežnjak stood out for the "students" with 17 points, Ilić scored 15, and Hadžibegović 14 points.
