The Herceg Novi volleyball team is the champion of Montenegro for the fourth season in a row! The defending champion remained on the throne after three matches of the final series of the EPCG Super League with Luka Bar, although all three duels were exciting, and Herceg Novi won them after a turnaround. In the final match at SC "Igalo" it was 3:2 (10:25, 25:18, 25:20, 19:25, 15:12) after almost two hours of volleyball and almost 200 points.

Luka Bar missed the opportunity in SC "Topolica" to secure a fourth match, but entered the duel in which it had to win with a lot of confidence. It led 7:1 at the start, gained a significant advantage very early, and with the excellent play of Teodora Čavić and Dijana Vuković in the attack, reduced the champion to only 10 points.

Herceg Novi showed character and desire to settle the series in three matches. Luka Bar played with the imperative of winning and made a large number of mistakes under pressure, while Herceg Novi played more engaged. Although they started the second set with 0:4, they turned it around with a fantastic series of 10 consecutive points to 14:6 and safely tied the score at 25:18, with great team play, and then in the third set they controlled the events on the court led by Brooke Dexter and Gordana Madžgalj.

After the home team's turnaround at 25:20, Vladimir Milačić's team knew that it had to go all or nothing. That's how they approached the set, opening with two consecutive points, then with great attacks through Dijana Vuković and Aleksandra Šćekić they took a 9:3 lead, and made a key run by stringing together six points for a 16:6 lead. Herceg Novi only managed to reduce the deficit by the end of the set, so the match, and the question of the winner, turned out to be decided by another tie-break.

In the fifth set, Luka Bar caught up with the hosts until the 13th point, when she tied the game with three points and took a 9:6 lead, but Herceg Novi had an answer. Brooke Dexter and Tatjana Bokan stepped up and tied the game, then the experienced former captain of Montenegro won a match point with a block, and the left-handed American scored for Herceg Novi's first cup of the season – 15:12.

It was the 17th point for Brooke Dexter, who was the most efficient in the ranks of the new-old champion, and Tatjana Bokan and Brenda Graf scored in double figures, with 11 points each. Montenegrin national team member Gordana Madžgalj scored nine. For Luka Bar, also in the match, the most efficient was Dijana Vuković with 24 points, and the "Sirens" failed to win the second match at home even though they had three more double figures in their ranks - Teodora Čavić had 14 points, Aleksandra Šćekić 12, Anđela Kukobat 11. In addition, Maša Dragojević scored nine points, but Luka Bar made as many as 37 errors.

The cup intended for the champion of Montenegro in the women's volleyball competition, captain of Herceg Novi, Melissa Cenović, was presented by the President of the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro, Nikola Kažić.

The duel at SC "Igalo" put an end to one of the most exciting club seasons in Montenegro in which three teams won a cup each - in addition to the championship title of Herceg Novi, the Cup trophy was won by Buducnost, and the Super Cup of Montenegro was won by Luka Bar.
