The semi-final series of the First A League playoffs begins with the matches SC Derbi - Sutjeska Elektroprivreda and Budućnost Voli - Mornar Barsko zlato.

SC Derbi and Sutjeska will be the first to take the field, on Thursday at 7:30 PM at the Basketball House in Kokoti. This will be their third meeting this season, and both have previously achieved a victory. SC Derbi celebrated 91:77 in early December last year, as part of the 8th round, in which Petar Mijović led the first team, which otherwise plays in the ABA League. The team from Nikšić got their revenge in early March this year, when as hosts in the 21st round match, they defeated the combined team of SC Derbi, which is led by coach Bojan Bakić in the domestic championship, with a score of 90:88.

Buducnost and Mornar previously played in the Montenegrin Cup final this season, with the Podgorica team winning 101:67. They will open the playoff semi-finals with a match in Podgorica on Friday at 6pm.

Budućnost and SC Derbi have been included in the playoffs for the title since the semifinals, while Sutjeska and Mornar played in the play-in phase, in which Nikšić eliminated Lovćen, and Mornar eliminated Primorje. In the semifinal play-off series, the game is played to the best of two wins.
