Malesia has already established herself as a serious threat in Hungary, and the recent matches confirm that her game is on an upward trajectory, just like her team's form.
The goal against PECS came at an important moment for the team.
"The goal means a lot to me, primarily because of the team because we played against a very good opponent. I'm glad I helped with the goal, especially because we work a lot on breakaways and that's becoming one of our strongest weapons. Lately, we've been acting more and more confident on the field and I think it's visible in the results. The most important thing is to continue in this rhythm," said Tanja.
Our footballer has experience playing in Russia, a double crown in North Macedonia and now continuity in Hungary.
"It certainly means everything to me, especially since I've been through different systems and styles of play. I adapted quickly in Budapest and I really like this environment, both on and off the field. Now I have more confidence and I feel like I can play more consistently from game to game. I do a lot of extra work and I think that's slowly coming back through the games," the young footballer points out.
The national team's matches in the Nations League against the Czech Republic are coming up. Tanja believes that the time has come to make a greater contribution to the national team's successes.
"It's always a special motivation for me when I play for the national team and that's something that drives me even more. I made my debut at a very young age in 2021 and since then I've been trying to improve year after year. I feel like I have more experience now and that I can make a bigger contribution to the team. We'll see what the next games bring, but I can't wait for the reunion," said Malesia.
Montenegro will play the Czech Republic on April 14th, while they will welcome the same rival four days later.
