Vincent Kompany's team defeated Stuttgart 4-2 today at the Allianz Arena, culminating an incredibly dominant season.
Kompany fielded, one could say, a different team today, and only Kimmich and Diaz were there from the regulars, but even with such a constellation of forces, the Bavarians had no problem securing the title.
However, things didn't start well. The "Skvabe" took the lead in the 21st minute, and the scorer, after an assist from El Hanus, was Firih.
That lead seemed to anger Bayern's players, who staged a real "blitzkrieg" and scored three goals in just six minutes.
First, Guerreiro equalized after an assist from Musiala, and just two minutes later, Jackson scored for the lead.
Canada's Davis made it 3:1 in the 37th minute, with Diaz providing the assist again, and the score went into halftime with that.
In the second half, Kompany brought in several first-team players, one of whom scored another goal in the 53rd minute. After a corner and a scramble in the Stuttgart box, Kane routinely scored to make it 4-1.
It was, by the way, the 32nd goal of the season for the great Englishman.
It should be noted that our national team player Ermedin Demirović entered the game in the 76th minute.
The home team could have scored a few more goals by the end of the game, but they were prevented from doing so by inaccuracy and the Stuttgart goalkeeper.
All the "Skvabe" did until the end was score one more goal – Andres scored in the 89th minute to make it 4:2.
Bayern now has 79 points, 15 more than second-placed Borussia.
With this 35th title, Bayern once again confirmed why they are the absolute rulers of the Bundesliga.
They showed the difference that separates them from the rest of the teams in the strongest league.
Besides having the broadest and highest quality squad, they won when it was most needed.
