The total number is dominated by foreigners, 2.73 thousand of them or about 94.3 percent, while there are only 166 domestic ones, reports Radio Tivat.
Observed by type of accommodation, hotels recorded 868 arrivals, 36 percent more than last year. In this type of accommodation, foreigners predominate, 707 of them, while domestic visitors accounted for 161.
Private accommodation recorded the highest volume with 2.02 thousand arrivals, which is 70 percent of total tourist turnover. In this segment, almost all turnover is made up of foreign guests, while the participation of domestic guests is minimal, amounting to only five guests.
This type of accommodation has achieved a growth of five percent compared to the same period last year.
In terms of structure, tourists from Russia and Serbia are in the lead, followed by guests from Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the United Kingdom. A smaller, but still significant share is recorded by tourists from Croatia, the United States of America and Albania.
