As it is pointed out, Terzić has an agreement in principle with the club, but everything will be made official only after Ernesto Valverde finishes the current season and leaves the bench.
Club president John Uriarte has already identified Terzić as a priority, and the German expert has reportedly already begun analyzing the team and planning summer changes.
Terzić has been out of work since leaving Borussia Dortmund, where he won the German Cup and played in the Champions League final, and in Spain he is seen as the leader of a new project.
According to the same sources, Bilbao was also considering Andoni Iraola, but Terzić is currently the closest to taking over the club from San Mames.
There was also speculation that Chelsea were interested in bringing Terzić, but it seems that the Basque giant was faster and more specific.
