Crnogorska akademija nauka i umjetnosti CANU smatra da se na aktuelna društvena i politička dešavanja treba osvrtati samo onda kada ona zadiru u dugoročnu sudbinu države, kulture i nauke. Sve ostalo, kako navode, pripada prostoru dnevne politike i analize, kako bi Akademija sačuvala svoje „mjesto susreta“, a ne zauzela „mjesto podjela“. Članovi te institucije kažu da su svjesni da svaki javni istup pod njenim okriljem više nije isključivo lični stav, već glas ustanove stare više od pola vijeka, zbog čega je, naglašavaju, odgovornost prema institucionalnom integritetu iznad ličnih uvjerenja ili političkih preferencija, piše Pobjeda.
