Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that the observation deck at the Belgrade Tower, which opened today, is a new symbol of Serbia, and that Belgrade on the water was made for all citizens, and thanked him for accepting his request for a reduced ticket price for visiting the observation deck.

"We didn't build this just for the rich. The rich can buy apartments here and live there. We are looking forward to that, we are looking forward to their happiness and success, because this has become the most beautiful place in our country. But I will be happy when we open all the doors here wide to all other citizens, the poorest and the poorest and the lower middle class, middle class, upper middle class, so that everyone can come and see what they have built. This belongs to all people, all citizens of our country," said Vučić during the opening of the observation deck on the 41st floor of the Belgrade Tower.

Stating that he had heard that they had set the price at 800 to 1,000 dinars depending on the time of day, Vučić asked that the prices be lowered so that all citizens from all parts of Serbia could come.

"My wish is that this project belongs not only to all Belgraders, but to all citizens of Serbia. If you can lower those prices a little so that people can come to the viewpoint, because we did not build this for the elite or for a small class of people. We built and built all this for our entire people, for all our citizens from all parts of Serbia," said Vučić.

He pointed out that the 360-degree view from the viewpoint offers the most beautiful view in all of Southeast Europe, and added that they also have souvenirs and a cafe there, and that citizens can see every part of Belgrade in the most beautiful way possible.

"There is no view that can compare to this," Vučić emphasized, adding that it will be possible to see how the site for the "Belgrade Eye" is being secured from the other bank of the Sava River, but also how work has already begun on the pedestrian bridge, or rather the old Žejleznički Bridge.

Also, as Vučić stated, it will soon be possible to see the first pillars for the new bridge being placed, which should be completed in a short period of time.

"But you will also be able to see how many magnificent things we have done and where the extension of the promenade towards Ada Ciganlija has already started. This way, we will connect Ada Ciganlija not only with Dorćol, but also further towards the Pančevo Bridge. And we are doing all this not for a small number of people, but we are doing it for all our people, for all our citizens, so that they can ride bicycles, so that they can walk, so that they can ride scooters, so that they can enjoy the beauties of our city," said Vučić.

He stated that the Belgrade on the Water project had achieved incredible success and pointed out that they had created the most beautiful space in Southeast Europe.

Founder and President of Eagle Hills Company Mohamed Alabar stated today that investments in Belgrade Waterfront have reached 5.5 billion euros.

At the opening ceremony of the observation deck on the 41st floor of the Belgrade Tower, he said that the investment in Belgrade on the Water has created more than 10,000 jobs.

He emphasized that these jobs are well-paid, and stated that the development of the Belgrade Waterfront project has led to the opening of more than 800 new companies.

Alabar expressed his gratitude to Vučić for his vision and trust and said that the original plan was to invest 2.5 billion euros in the project.

"Some people believed in us, some didn't, but look where we are now – at almost 5.5 billion euros in investments. And what does that number mean? It means that things have gone much better than we initially thought," Alabar pointed out.

He stated that the effects of the investment in Belgrade on the water on the entire Serbian economy are three times greater and that they have created 15 to 16 billion euros of value.

Alabar stated that the construction of landmarks such as the Belgrade Tower increases the value of every apartment or house in Serbia.

"I assure you of that. And what does that mean? It means that the wealth of each family is increasing," Alabar pointed out.

He said that thanks to Belgrade on the Water, the Eagle Hills company is becoming known in Europe.

"This would not have happened if it weren't for Belgrade and the people of Belgrade, the Serbian people and their love for life and progress," Alabar pointed out.
