The second-ranked tennis player in the world, Italian Janic Siner, and the 11th-ranked player on the planet, Russian Daniil Medvedev, will compete for the trophy at this year's Masters in Indian Wells.

Siner routinely defeated Alexander Zverev in the semifinals (6:3, 6:4), while Medvedev surprised world number one Carlos Alcaraz (6:3, 7:6) and inflicted his first defeat of the year, but also prevented a new blockbuster called "Sinkaraz".

Since the beginning of this calendar year, Danil has been playing like a reborn player, he already has two titles (Brisbane and Dubai), and is on a streak of nine matches won, or 18 sets.

On the other hand, Siner was stopped in the quarterfinals by Jakub Menšik in Doha this season, and before that in the semifinals of the Australian Open, by Novak Djokovic.

Janik will be playing for his 25th career title, Danil for his 24th. Both are chasing their sixth Masters trophy.

The final is scheduled for tonight at 11 pm our time.

Three hours earlier, Arina Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina will play for the women's title.
