"I will be in Montenegro for three weeks in June and July and will play for the national team. I talked to people from the Federation during December and January, they explained to me what awaits us in the summer and I am ready. I have been playing for the national team since I was 14," said Mirković.
Our basketball player had an exceptional first season with Ilina, with whom he managed to qualify for the NCAA final tournament, where they were eliminated in the semifinals. He averaged 13.3 points, eight rebounds and 2.6 assists. Mirković previously announced that he will remain at that university next season.
After four rounds of qualifying for the World Basketball Championship, Montenegro has a mediocre performance, and in June it will first play Portugal as a guest, then host Romania.
