The program will be held on Saturday, April 18, starting at 7 p.m., in the large hall of the KIC "Zeta".
The "Jelena Balšić" literary award, awarded by the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral, went to Milica Kralj for her lifetime achievement this year.
The decision was made by a jury consisting of: Prof. Dr. Milo Lompar (president), Prof. Dr. Lidija Tomić, Prof. Dr. Valentina Pitulić, Prof. Dr. Duško Pevulja and MA Milorad Durutović.
The award will be presented to Milica Kralj at a literary and poetic evening by His Eminence, Archbishop of Cetinje and Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral, Mr. Joanikije.
The welcoming speech will be delivered by the Mayor of Zeta Municipality, Mihajlo Asanović.
In addition to the winner, the program will also feature Prof. Dr. Lidija Tomić and MA Milorad Durutović, while the musical part will feature the Children's Choir "St. Simeon Dajbabski".
The "Jelena Balšić" literary award was established by the decision of the late Metropolitan of Montenegro and the Littoral, Amfilohije, and is awarded every other year to prominent Serbian writers whose work bears witness to the Orthodox faith, Serbian spirituality and culture.
Previous winners of this award are: Đorđo Sladoje, Žarko Komanin, Ranko Jovović, Slobodan Rakitic, Dragan Lakićević and Rajko Petrov Nogo.
