The Police Department states that police officers arrested GG (32) from Bar on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of robbery against an employee of a betting shop in Zeta.
"GG, as is suspected, on February 11, 2026, in the evening, using threats, forced the injured person, an employee of a betting shop, to hand over 700 euros from the cash register, which this person did, after which the suspect left the scene in an unknown direction," the statement emphasizes.
It is emphasized that from the moment the incident was reported, police officers undertook intensive activities to identify, locate and detain GG, which activities resulted in the arrest of this person and the clarification of the incident.
"The competent state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed about the event, who ordered that GG be deprived of his liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of robbery, and that he be brought to further jurisdiction within the legal deadline," the Police Directorate concluded in a statement.
