"Yugoslavia" the best in volleyball in both competitions

Organized by the Montenegrin School Sports Association, the 43rd National School Sports Games Championship in mini volleyball for primary school students was held in Bar.

The competition brought together the three best teams from each of the three regions, who had qualified for the finals through school, municipal and regional competitions. The competition was played in a round-robin format over three rounds, with the finals held at the “Jugoslavija” Elementary School.

In both competitions, the champions were awarded to the students of the host school of the finals – Primary School "Yugoslavia", and both teams without losing a set.

In men's volleyball, the professor's students Vladan Jovanovic they left behind Elementary School "Novka Ubović" from Podgorica, led from the bench by professor Dejan Cakovic and third place Elementary School "9. maj" from Sutivan near Bijelo Polje, whose coach is professor Dragan Maskovic. The volleyball players from Bijelopolje improved their ranking by one place from last year, as they won silver last year.

Results – 1st round: “9. maj” – “Novka Ubović” 1:2, 2nd round: “9th May” – “Yugoslavia” 0:2; Round 3: “Novka Ubović” – “Yugoslavia” 0:2.

Final ranking: 1. “Yugoslavia”, 2. “Novka Ubović”, 3. “9th May”.

In the volleyball competition, the professor's students were unrivaled. Goran Kankaraš, which defeated both of their rivals with maximum results. The silver medal went to Elementary School "Dušan Korać" from Bijelo Polje, whose coach is professor Damir Kalic, while the bronze medalists climbed to the lowest step of the podium Elementary School "Milord Musa Burzan" from Podgorica, led by Professor Vukašin Boljević.

Results – 1st round: “Dušan Korac” – “Yugoslavia” 0:2; 2nd round: “Milorad Musa Burzan” – “Dusan Korac” 0:2; Round 3: “Milorad Musa Burzan” – Yugoslavia” 0:2.

Final placement: 1. “Yugoslavia”, 2. “Dušan Korac”, 3. “Milorad Musa Burzan”.

The National Mini Volleyball Championship once again demonstrated the great importance of school sports and the promotion of healthy lifestyles among students. The competition was held in a sportsmanship and fair play spirit, and the students demonstrated a high level of volleyball knowledge, teamwork and sportsmanship.
