With his phenomenal performances in the Eternal City, the 31-year-old Barranca earned a new contract with Roma, where they expect him to lead them next season in a new attempt to return to Serie A1 after a two-year absence.

Roma is the Montenegrin captain's second club in Italy – in the 2022/23 season she played for San Giovanni, and in her rich international career she has played in Turkey, the USA, China, Indonesia, Greece, Hungary, Romania and Norway.
