The Montenegrin national team held their second training session last night at the main field of the Football Association's Training Camp in preparation for the upcoming friendly matches that will be played in the first days of June. The selection is slowly being completed, and the "falcons" will hold their first full training session on Tuesday.

Before the training session, Driton Camaj spoke about expectations from the friendly matches in Plovdiv and Košice.

The attacking midfielder points out that these matches will be a new opportunity to prove himself to all the invited players.

– The matches are not that important in terms of results, they are primarily an opportunity for players who have had less playing time. The rivals are not that important either, we are focused on ourselves, on our game, on preparing as best as possible for the Nations League and what awaits us from September. However, I think that the next rivals are better than those who await us in the Nations League, which was the case with Slovenia. That is good because we can progress even more, to be ready for competitive matches, said the "Falcon" midfielder.

Camaj believes that all players, despite the fact that the matches are coming at the end of the season, will do their best to fulfill all the demands of the coaching staff.

– This may be the most inconvenient time for national team matches because it comes at the end of the season, but it is our obligation and something we are used to. We are all professionals, we can't wait to play for the national team and we will do our best in every match to fulfill all the demands placed on us and achieve a positive result, added Camaj.

The next training session for our best football players is today at 7 pm at the FSCG Training Camp.
