In the jersey of the Belgrade club, Vojinović showed what he is best at – continuity, maturity and leadership that goes beyond his years. From the fourth round, he took first place in the MVP race of the Serbian Basketball League and did not let go of that position until the end of the regular season, until the 30th round. Such stability of form is rarely seen in such a young player, who will only turn 20 on August 10, and it speaks volumes about his character.
He finished the season as the league MVP with an impressive 703 index points, ahead of Devon Stone Barn from Tamiš, who collected 672. In addition, Alek was the third top scorer of the championship with 596 points scored, right behind the first-place player Robert Allen Smith from Dynamics i Devona Stone Barnes, while in almost all other statistical categories he was at the very top.
As the leader of a young team of “clonfers”, which this season did not have a single experienced player, Alek was named MVP of the round four times, and in a total of 970 minutes spent on the court, he averaged 23.4 index points per game. His impact on the game of OKK Belgrade was immeasurable – both through the numbers, and through the energy and responsibility he took on as captain.
The crowning glory of a great season also came through professional recognition – in a survey in which coaches from all 16 clubs in the Serbian Basketball League participated, Vojinović was chosen as the best player of the regular season 2025/2026, as well as the best young player in the league. As expected, he was also named in the championship's ideal five, as the leader of the "magnificent five".
Despite numerous individual recognitions, Vojinović remained "firmly on the ground".
–These awards mean a lot to me, but they are primarily the result of the work of the entire team and the coaching staff. Without my teammates, I wouldn't be anywhere near this. I'm trying to stay focused, to improve day by day and to help the team as much as I can. This is just more motivation to work even harder., said Vojinović in his distinctively modest style.
