Partizan basketball player Isak Bonga was named the best defender of the AdmiralBet ABA League for the 2025/26 season, as chosen by coaches, journalists and fans.

The German international won the award for the second year in a row, with a total of 30.2 percent of the vote. He was followed by Umoja Gibson of Cedevita Olimpija (14.5 percent), Cody Miller-McIntyre of Red Star Belgrade and McKinley Wright of Dubai (9.4 percent each).

It is particularly impressive that Bonga came first in all three voting categories, further confirming his dominance in the defensive segment of the game.

In his second season with Partizan, Bonga averaged 10.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists, making a major contribution to the team's defense and overall performance.
