"The majority that elected Borovinić Bojović as the leader of the Assembly in Podgorica has disintegrated and no longer exists, so the only personally and politically responsible thing to do would be for her to resign. Since Borovinić Bojović is obviously not going to do that, because she is only interested in staying in office for a few days longer, our support for the initiative of her colleagues from SEP is unquestionable," said DPS Podgorica.
Furthermore, as they state, it is obvious that the disintegrated parliamentary majority is usurping power in Podgorica today, because in the absence of the necessary number of councilors for decision-making, it does not schedule sessions of the local Assembly and thus prevents the adoption of important decisions for the city and its citizens. They add that in this and such obstruction of the development of the Capital City, the greatest contribution from her position is made by Borovinić Bojović, and this is all the more reason for her dismissal.
"That is why it is important that in the next elections we send the current usurpers of positions and personal profiteers into the opposition, from where they will not be able to harm Podgorica and its best interests, nor, for the sake of classic power-hungry, stop the prospects for the development of the Capital City," they conclude in the statement.
