VDT: Indictment raised against Nikola Boljević for the murder of Simo Marković

The Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, after conducting an investigation, has filed an indictment against N.B. (Nikola Boljević) for the criminal offense of murder committed against S.M. (Simo Marković), the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosive materials, and the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession, and trafficking of narcotic drugs, which indictment has been submitted to the Higher Court in Podgorica for proceedings, it was announced by the VDT.

According to the VDT, the indictment charges the accused with having, on December 30, 2025, in the village of Markovići – municipality of Budva, intentionally deprived the victim S.M. of life by firing multiple projectiles from a firearm – a pistol that he possessed without the approval of the competent authority and unlawfully carried in a public place, resulting in the victim sustaining seven gunshot wounds, which caused death at the scene. Furthermore, from an unspecified date until January 3, 2026, in the apartment he used in Spuž – municipality of Danilovgrad, he kept a firearm – a pistol and a magazine for the said pistol containing seven rounds of ammunition without the approval of the competent authority, as well as a PVC bag containing a narcotic drug cocaine with a net weight of 499.67 grams, which was intended for further unlawful sale.

They also add that an indictment has been raised against I.R. and V.V., who are charged as accomplices with the accused N.B. for committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession, and trafficking of narcotic drugs.
