The Director of the Health Insurance Fund of Montenegro, Aleksandar Ružić, signed a one-year contract with representatives of the Special Hospital for Nuclear Medicine "Ospita" from Belgrade, which relates to the provision of services to Montenegrin insured persons for PET CT FDG and PET CT PSMA.

"This contract regulates the mutual rights and obligations of the contracting parties in providing sophisticated health services to insured persons of the Health Insurance Fund of Montenegro, and the Special Hospital for Nuclear Medicine "Ospita" is obliged to provide timely health services to the referred insured person of the Fund according to the issued referral in accordance with medical doctrine and ethics, while implementing the most efficient and rational treatment," the statement states.

In this way, they point out, the Health Insurance Fund's insured persons are enabled to provide health services using advanced nuclear medicine diagnostics, which provides additional relief to the insured persons when organizing departure and return on the same day, and the signing of the Contract and the establishment of cooperation between the Fund and this Special Hospital is also favorable from a financial perspective.
