In the village of Cokrlije, in the Vranješka Valley near Bijelo Polje, a serious traffic accident occurred when a car, according to eyewitnesses, hit a herd of sheep on the road at high speed.
According to eyewitness Marko Anđelić, the vehicle was traveling significantly above the speed limit, even though it was on a stretch of road directly in front of the school, where the speed limit is 30 km/h. He estimates that the car was traveling at up to 130 km/h.
"We all saw the herd and stopped when it came running. It's lucky that none of the people were hurt," said Anđelić.
About ten sheep were killed in this incident, which is an additional blow for the host Brajković, who, according to locals, had already had about 20 of his sheep slaughtered by dogs a few days ago.
