Favorable driving conditions, possible minor landslides

Traffic participants can expect favorable driving conditions. Smaller landslides are possible along gorges and ravines. Drivers are advised to respect all restrictions and prohibitions defined by posted signs, the Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Montenegro (AMSCG) announced.

On the regional road R-10 Đurđevića Tara - Mojkovac, at the Sokolovina location, a landslide occurred, causing traffic to be suspended.

Due to the construction of the reconstruction of the Đurdevića Tara bridge on the M-6 main road, section Pljevlja - Žabljak, locality Đurdevića Tara, a change in the traffic regime is approved as follows:

1. Total traffic closure for freight traffic (trucks, tractors, trucks with trailers, tractors with trailers, etc.) with a carrying capacity of over 3.5 tons until the work is completed.

Until May 31, a total traffic suspension is approved in the interval from 08:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:00 due to work on the regional road R-30, section Petnjica - Bioča, section Bioča-Lješnica.

Due to the reconstruction of the Petnjica-Bioča road, a change in the traffic regime from two-way to alternating traffic flow at the work sites is approved, as well as a temporary traffic stop of no longer than 60 minutes. Traffic stops of no longer than 60 minutes cannot be used on working days (Monday-Friday) in the intervals from 07:00 to 09:00 and from 12:00 to 14:00.

On the M-3 main road, section Plužine-Jasenovo Polje, locality Zaborje-Jasenovo Polje, traffic is carried out alternately in one lane at the work sites and is regulated by traffic lights.

The change of traffic regime from two-way to alternating traffic flow is approved due to the construction of works on the reconstruction of the access roads to the Đurđevica Tara bridge.

By June 15, the traffic regime will change from two-way to alternating, as well as the possibility of a complete traffic stop in the Sozina tunnel for short periods from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. These include works on repairing cracks in the Sozina tunnel by grouting with final painting of the lining, as well as works on cleaning the drainage channel. The works will be carried out manually using light equipment and machines.

Temporarily, until the completion of the works, a change in the traffic regime from two-way to alternating traffic at the site of the works is approved due to the implementation of works on the adaptation of a part of the road in the center of Tuzi, from the Voli market to the Catholic church, on the M-4 main road, section Podgorica-Božaj.

Temporarily, until the completion of the works, a change in the traffic regime from two-way to alternating traffic flow at the work sites is approved, due to the implementation of works to improve traffic safety (vertical and horizontal traffic signals) on the regional road R-13, section Mateševo-Kolašin.

In Podgorica, a complete suspension is approved due to construction works on Vojislavljevića Boulevard - Phase II - in the section from Kralja Nikole Street to Princeze Ksenije Street. Traffic is being diverted along alternative routes in accordance with the posted traffic signals.

Until May 30th, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the occupation of part of the road surface of the main road is approved due to the construction of the access road for the new bus station at the Šištet-Igalo location.

Traffic intensity is moderate. Increased vehicle frequency is expected on most road routes in the country during the day.

In the past 24 hours, there have been 12 traffic accidents in which two people suffered serious injuries and nine minor injuries.

The Auto moto Association of Montenegro provides road users with technical assistance on public roads, which includes providing road assistance, minor malfunctions and free towing of vehicles to the first service for all vehicles registered in Montenegro.
