"Namely, the Podgorica Security Department was reported yesterday that on April 25, 2026, in the hallway of a building on Svetog Petra Cetinjskog Boulevard, a fight occurred in which one minor physically attacked another, and that the entire event was recorded on a mobile phone and forwarded as a video via the social network Snapchat," the police said.
Police officers took measures and actions within their jurisdiction, identified the participants in the event – two minors aged 16 – and collected information from them about the circumstances of the event.
"It is suspected that the first reported minor, aged 16, committed the criminal offenses of violent behavior and unauthorized photography (Article 174, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, "...whoever makes a photographic, film, video or other recording of a person without authorization and thereby significantly intrudes into their personal life or who hands over or shows such a recording to a third party or otherwise enables them to become acquainted with it..."), in a way that on April 25, at around 10 p.m., on Svetog Petra Cetinjskog Boulevard in Podgorica, she disturbed public order and peace and committed violence against the injured minor, aged 14, by knocking her down on a concrete surface after a brief verbal argument, and then punching and kicking her several times in the head and body, as a result of which the injured party sustained bodily injuries," the police said.
Then, on the same day, after the physical attack, she forwarded a video of the physical attack on the injured party to another minor from her phone and through her Snapchat account.
"The second reported minor, also 16 years old, is suspected of the criminal offense of unauthorized photography, which she is suspected of committing by making an unauthorized video recording on a mobile phone on the stated date, at around 10 p.m., showing a physical attack on the injured party by the first reported minor," the police concluded.
