Bakei dismissed US President Donald Trump's allegations as "false and baseless", AFP reported.
Tehran insists there are currently no negotiations to end the war and has launched new missile attacks on Israel and US-allied Persian Gulf countries throughout the day.
As a reminder, Trump stated that Iran has requested a ceasefire in the current conflict, but said that Washington will not consider such a request until the Strait of Hormuz is reopened and safe for international traffic.
In a post on the social network Truth Social, Trump stated that "the new president of the regime in Iran, much less radical and far more intelligent than his predecessors," has requested a ceasefire from the United States.
The US president said that a possible cessation of hostilities would only be considered when the key sea passage is open, free and secure.
