Delegation of Montenegro at the session of the Commission on the Status of Women: Strengthening access to justice for all women and girls

The Montenegrin delegation is participating in the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), the most important United Nations body dedicated to advancing gender equality and empowering women.

The delegation is led by the Minister of Human and Minority Rights, while the session is also attended by a delegation from the Ministry of Social Welfare, Family Care and Demography, consisting of Minister Damir Gutić, State Secretary Mersida Aljićević, and Acting Director General of the Directorate for Development and Monitoring of Service Provision, Amela Orahovac.

The theme of this year's session is strengthening access to justice for all women and girls, with a focus on combating gender-based violence and improving institutional protection mechanisms.

During the session, the delegation will participate in the general debate and international events dedicated to the advancement of gender equality and the protection of women's rights.
