As Anatolia reports, the city of Safi was hit by thunderstorms on Sunday evening, causing large floods in a very short period of time.

Search and rescue operations are still ongoing, and officials said necessary measures have been taken to secure the affected areas and provide support to residents.

Officials said that another 20 people were injured and that they are being treated at the state hospital in Safi.
