"Zmajček" celebrated "under Gorica" (3:2) with a turnaround at the beginning of the first half.
Montenegro led twice, played a good first half, attacked, but the defense was not up to par.
"Realistic result or not - the fact is that we lost the game. What happened against Croatia is repeating itself. We did play well, in some segments we were much better than them, but what happened was that we conceded a goal when 10 players were in front of the ball, and that has to change. We had a chance at 2:2, all praise for their goalkeeper, but that's football. We turn to tomorrow, to analyze the negative and positive things, to dwell more on the negative ones and to work," Vučinić told RTCG after the match.
Milutin Osmajić scored three goals in just four days.
"Osmajić showed that he is the first point guard, but you also saw what kind of "dirty" work Nikola Krstović did. I think the two of them are a good tandem, they play for each other and build on each other well," Vučinić points out.
Is it a good idea to build this 4-4-2 system with Osmajić and Krstović?
"We'll see. When we're behind the ball, we have problems. My coaching staff and I need to do an analysis, and then we'll see what and how to proceed."
Montenegro played football today unlike the match with Andorra when they celebrated, but did not impress.
"I'm interested in watching the game two or three times to extract the negative things and work on them. Only with work can we progress," concluded the Montenegro coach.
