The final lists include 26 players, and FIFA has reminded that changes are only possible in the event of a serious injury or illness, and no later than 24 hours before the national team's first match at the championship.
There are several interesting records among the registered players. The oldest participant will be 43-year-old Scottish goalkeeper Craig Gordon, while the title of youngest player at the championship will be taken by 17-year-old Mexican talent Hilberto Mora.
The upcoming World Cup will be historic in terms of the number of participants, as for the first time, 48 national teams will compete for the title of world champion.
The World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19, and the United States, Mexico and Canada will host the biggest football event.
