Head of the coaching staff of Novljan, Vladimir Gojkovic, is pleased that Škver won its 14th national championship title.
“Our primary goal before the start of the season was to defend our title and qualify directly for the Champions League. It's good that we finished the season with two domestic trophies, but taking everything into account, and I said this right after being eliminated by Panathinaikos in the Euro Cup, we can't be satisfied. We fluctuated a lot, we could have done better in Europe. I hope that next season will be even better.", said Gojkovic.
Jadran entered the season with a rejuvenated team.
“We consciously entered into rejuvenation. The younger players took advantage of the opportunity that presented itself to them. We have had a difficult season behind us, interspersed with the European Championship and the World Cup for national teams. It was not easy to make a good connection“.
The Adriatic is again undergoing reconstruction.
“We will keep the skeleton of the team. We will bring back players from our system so that there will be no significant changes and friction. All Montenegrin clubs will be stronger, which is good for our water polo and the national team", concluded Gojković.
