Left winger Maša Ulićević will be part of the ŽRK Budućnost first team from next season and will compete for appearances in the EHF Champions League, the Podgorica club announced.

According to Buducnost, the 18-year-old handball player has already felt the charms of the biggest European scene, after making her debut in the Champions League last season, confirming that she is one of the most talented players emerging in the club system.

Ulićević was also a member of the Montenegrin national team that won the bronze medal at the European Women's U17 Championship in Podgorica last summer, achieving one of the greatest successes of the Montenegrin junior handball teams in recent years.

Budućnost emphasize that joining the first team represents a logical continuation of her development and a reward for the work, dedication and progress she has shown in the previous period, with the belief that appearances in the EHF Champions League and working with the senior team will be an ideal opportunity for her further progress.

The Montenegrin giant said that he remains consistent with the strategy of developing young domestic players, who represent the foundation of the future of Buducnost and domestic handball.

"We wish Masha much success, health and happiness in the new phase of her career, with the belief that great handball things are ahead of her," the club said in a statement.
