All three selectors were appointed as acting directors for a term of office until June 1st.
Montenegrin karate players will compete in the Senior European Championships in Frankfurt from May 20th to 24th.
Vojinović will lead the seniors in the fights, while Milačić, as before, will be in charge of kata in the men's competition.
Tatar is returning to the selector's position after four years, and she will be in charge of kata in the women's competition.
The competitors in the fights, as before, will be led by the selector Zarko Rakovic.
Vojinović and Tarar replaced at the helm of Montenegrin karate athletes Almira Cecunjanina i Biserka Radulović, who have held that position for the previous four years.
– Taking into account that the mandate periods of the previously appointed selectors have been highlighted, as well as the need to ensure continuity in the work of the representative selections in preparation for the upcoming European Karate Championships for Seniors and preparatory activities, the Board of Directors, at the proposal of the Technical Committee, made a decision to appoint acting selectors – the statement after the session states.
It is stated that the appointments were made based on an assessment of professional references, previous work and the need to ensure the stability and smooth functioning of the national team until final solutions are made in accordance with the future normative and procedural framework of the federation.
