It is stated that in its 59 years of existence, the club has won the European Champions Cup twice - in Gyor in 2002 and Pristina in 2017, while it has been the European vice-champion four times.
-34 medals were won at the World Championships, World Cups and World Games. We won 52 medals at the European Championships, and 36 medals at the European University Championships. We have 101 medals from the Mediterranean Championships, and more than 300 medals from the Balkan Championships – the Podgorica club announced.
The club reminds that Budućnost has a record 75 national team championship titles (SFRY-Montenegro) in team kata and team wrestling in men's and women's competitions.

The Buducnost Karate Club made its first appearance in 1976 at the first Oslobodjenje Titograd Karate Cup, which was held at the Budo Tomović Youth Center.
