He previously achieved a double with Partizan, then won the Premier League and Community Shield with Manchester City, and then conquered the Primera Division, Europa League and UEFA Super Cup with Atletico.

"After the injection the doctor gave me, I could only last 60 minutes, but I tried to help my team. Hearing the fans' voices, feeling their support – that's wonderful," added Savić.
The championship campaign was also successful, as Trabzon finished in third place, behind champions Galatasaray and second-placed Fenerbahçe.
"I'm happy. I think we had a very good season. We literally fought until the last rounds for the title. Last season was very difficult, but we managed to come back and I'm very proud of my teammates," Savić said.
Although he was plagued with injuries during the season, Savić played 26 matches for Trabzonspor and scored one goal.
