He was extremely consistent throughout the season, scoring in double figures in almost every game, while scoring 20 or more points 19 times. He particularly stood out in January, when he excelled and deservedly won the MVP of the month award.
He was a key player for Olympiacos on both ends of the court, bringing confidence and leadership in crucial moments. He was also named to the EuroLeague All-Star Team for the fourth time in his career.
He became only the third Olympiacos player to win the MVP award, after Miloš Teodosić and Vasilis Spanoulis.
