Olympiacos basketball player Sasha Vezenkov (30) was named the EuroLeague MVP for the 2025/26 season, after leading the team to its best performance in the regular season.

He won the award ahead of Silvano Francisco from Zalgiris and Elijah Bryant from Hapoel Tel Aviv.

This is his second MVP title, having also been the best in the 2022/23 season, joining Anthony Parker as the only player with two awards. Vezenkov was the most efficient in the league with 19.4 points per game, with a utility index of 23.1 and 6.6 rebounds.

He was extremely consistent throughout the season, scoring in double figures in almost every game, while scoring 20 or more points 19 times. He particularly stood out in January, when he excelled and deservedly won the MVP of the month award.

He was a key player for Olympiacos on both ends of the court, bringing confidence and leadership in crucial moments. He was also named to the EuroLeague All-Star Team for the fourth time in his career.

He became only the third Olympiacos player to win the MVP award, after Miloš Teodosić and Vasilis Spanoulis.
